Goober lives in the village of Almanac in the Emerald Forest. 

No one seems to know where he came from or how old he is. If you ask him, he only laughs. Sometimes his appearance is that of a small man and other times he looks like an overgrown child. 

Goober is always wearing a brown cloth poncho and a blue knitted hat with white trim. He can be found mumbling to himself as he walks around the village. 

He lives behind the Dark Horse Tavern in a small cottage with his companion, The Broker, who he calls, “B”. He helps out at the tavern by cleaning dishes, sweeping the floor, or doing anything else that Gorgo Aducah, the owner of the tavern, needs help with.  Sometimes he walks down the Odren livery stables and helps with chores there too.

Goober likes to be helpful, but his efforts usually result in things getting broken or turning into a big mess. Goober has a kind heart but doesn’t always say the appropriate words when talking.  The Broker is always at his side and helps him get out of trouble caused by his words or actions.
