đźś„ Glimmermere Basin đźś„
The Elysian Fields, home to the fabled ponies, are bound by ancient pacts to the primal Elements.
Aligned with the element of Water, the Glimmermere Basin lies southward where the meadows sink into a wide, glittering depression filled with lakes and streams that seem to breathe. The waters here are never still—rippling in ceaseless motion, whispering with voices like laughter and song. Mist drifts above them in veils that catch the dawn light and scatter it into living rainbows.
At the Basin’s center lies a vast whirlpool that never consumes, endlessly circling in upon itself. It pulses with rhythm, as though it has a heartbeat—its waves rising and falling in answer to unseen tides. Travelers speak of hearing faint voices within the rush, as if the waters remember all they have touched and return those memories in murmured dreams.
From this perpetual pool washed ashore the Pony of Water, guardian and keeper of the southern fields, a presence as inexorable as the seas themselves.
